Live video and audio

Live media is sent using WebRTC directly between users whenever possible. When a direct connection cannot be established, Cloudflare Realtime TURN may relay encrypted WebRTC traffic. The application server does not proxy the live media and the service is designed not to record calls.

Moderation access

Authorized moderators may temporarily connect to a user's live WebRTC stream for safety, abuse investigation and rule enforcement. A notice is displayed while a moderator connection is active.

Technical and moderation data

The service processes connection/session metadata needed to operate matchmaking. Reports and moderation actions can be retained. Network addresses are hashed for ban enforcement, although network information is necessarily processed during network communications.
