Privacy

This page explains the main data flows used to operate Cumalot. The service does not require a persistent public account. You choose a temporary username and gender for the current room session.

Live video and audio

Live media is sent using WebRTC directly between users whenever possible. When a direct connection cannot be established, third-party network infrastructure may relay encrypted WebRTC traffic. The application server does not proxy live media or continuously record video calls. For safety moderation, periodic screenshots are collected and stored as described below.

Chatroom camera viewing

Joining the chatroom does not require camera or microphone permission, and your camera starts off. If you choose to turn it on, a separate WebRTC connection is created only when another user chooses to view your available camera. Your interface shows the number of room users currently connected to your webcam. You can turn your camera off again at any time.

Chatroom profile and messages

While you are in the chatroom, your temporary username, selected gender, camera availability and current viewer count are shared with other room users. Public and private room messages are stored in the server-side chat database for moderation, safety and service administration. The public interface loads the latest 50 public messages when a user enters; private message history is not exposed to other room users beyond the sender and recipient during their active session. Authorized administrators can review stored public and private chat history.

Moderation access and screenshots

Authorized moderators may temporarily connect to a user's live WebRTC stream for safety, abuse investigation and rule enforcement. A notice is displayed while a moderator connection is active. In addition, when you activate your camera or share a picture or screen, the service automatically takes a screenshot of the outgoing video approximately every 10 seconds, starting from the first available frame. These screenshots are sent to the server for safety moderation and may contain identifiable or intimate content, including information visible on a shared screen.

Screenshots are associated with your temporary username, room ID and capture time, held in a private storage area accessible only to administrators, and automatically deleted after 48 hours. Captures stop when broadcasting stops. No screenshot collection occurs while the camera and sharing are disabled. Browser restrictions or connection problems may cause some scheduled screenshots to be missed. The service does not collect audio in screenshots.

Technical, analytics and moderation data

The service processes connection and session metadata needed to operate the chatroom. Aggregate usage statistics can include room joins, message counts, camera-view sessions, selected gender totals, session durations and peak concurrent usage. Public and private room messages, reports and moderation actions can be retained. Network addresses are hashed for ban enforcement, although network information is necessarily processed during network communications.

Google Analytics

Cumalot uses Google Analytics 4 from page load to understand page visits and product usage, such as Chatroom joins, message counts, webcam-view actions, privacy-effect usage and connection type. Google Analytics may use analytics cookies or similar identifiers. Cumalot does not send usernames, message contents, video, audio, public user IDs or report details to Google Analytics. Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalization remain disabled.

Third-party infrastructure

Infrastructure providers may process technical network data when providing DNS, security, hosting or relay services. Their processing is governed by their own applicable terms and privacy obligations.

Your choices

Do not share personal information with strangers unless you intentionally choose to do so. You can mute your microphone, disable your camera, stop viewing another camera, leave the chatroom or close the site at any time.
